Sasha Horst has served as staff for the Commission since 2001. A third-generation Washingtonian, she was born and raised in Seattle and moved to Bellingham to attend Western Washington University, where she earned degrees in education and music. Her Operations Manager title has encompasses a broad range of duties, which also includes grant management and tracking the Commission's federal budget as well as providing some of the institutional memory for the organization.
