Port Townsend Scavenger Hunt 2026

 

Welcome to the 2026 MRC Conference Scavenger Hunt!

This one‑hour, self‑guided walking activity highlights six Jefferson MRC projects located within easy walking distance of the Port Townsend Maritime Center.

Visit all six sites, answer their questions, and collect the letters hidden on shells at each stop. Put the letters together to decode the final word. When you’ve solved it, visit any Jefferson County MRC member during the conference and claim your glory as a finisher!

How It Works

  1. Use the printed card found in your conference packet to see the map and site numbers.
  2. Walk to each of the six sites located between Point Hudson and the Ferry Terminal.
  3. At each site:
  • Answer the question on your card.
  • Find the shell with a letter on it.
  • Write down the letter.
  • When you’ve collected all six letters, solve the final word.
  • WHAT DO THEY DO WHEN THEY ARE FINISHED???

How to submit photos by email:

  • Open your phone’s photo gallery.
  • Select 1 or more photos you want to share.
  • Tap Share > Mail (or your email app).

  • That’s it! Your images will automatically upload to our collection folder.
